Calcutta Port Defence Volunteers

Circa 1909, the Calcutta Port Defence Volunteers, consisted of five companies, two being naval divisions, one of garrison artillery, one of submarine miners, and one of electrical engineers, with a strength in 1903-4 of 333.

For the Engineering Company, see No. 1 (Calcutta) Fortress Company, which was the 1933 designation.
