Barauli is a small village west of Bari and a station on the Mohari-Barauli Railway which was a 6in/762mm narrow gauge(NG) line constructed by the Imperial Delhi Committee for the carriage of stone for Delhi (later to be named New Delhi) from quarries at Barauli [1].
The railway opened in Feb 1917

The modern details are 'Barauli village is located in Baseri Tehsil of Dhaulpur district in Rajasthan, India. It is situated 30km away from sub-district headquarter Baseri and 58km away from district headquarter Dhaulpur'[2].
