The Guntur-Repalle Railway was built and worked by the Madras and Southern Mahratta Railway(M&SMR) and the first section opened in 1914. The line ran from Guntur to Repalle
The Tenali-Repalle Railway section owned by Guntur District Board and opened in 1916.
