Henry Godwin
Sir Henry Thomas Godwin KCB (1784–1853), was a British soldier who went to India in 1822 as Lieutenant-Colonel in the 41st Foot and served in the 1st Burma War. In 1851 he took command of the Sirhind Division of the the Bombay Army and was Commander -in-Chief during the 2nd Burma War. He died in Simla in 1853.
