Dehra Dun, in the district of Dehra Dun, is the present day state capital of Uttarakhand. The city is often referred to simply as Dehra. In the British era it was part of the United Provinces. The cantonment Clement Town is adjacent to Dehra Dun.
Nearby locations include Mussoorie, Hardwar, Roorkee and Saharanpur.
