Dhubri Branch Railway
The Dhubri Branch Railway was a metre gauge(MG) branch of Assam Section of the East Bengal Railway(EBR). The short branchline from Dhubri on the EBR mainline to Fakiragram opened in 1902 [1].
Fakiragram was the terminal station of the Goalpara Forest Tramway and where the timber extracted from the forests was tranferred to the EBR network for distribution [2].
