Ahmedabad-Parantij Railway, a private Company registered 1896. A metre gauge(MG) line 55 miles(88km) opened 1897 from Ahmedabad to Himmatnager; extended to Khul Brahma in 1911 giving total 89 miles(142km)[1] .
Worked as part of the Bombay, Baroda and Central India Railway MG network[1]

- L/AG/46/21 “Records of the India Office relating to the Ahmadabad-Parantij Railway; 1896-1910"; with the Catalogue note 'The Company was formed in India in 1896. Line ran from Ahmadabad City north to Parantij (Prantej), a distance of some 33 miles. Worked by the Bombay, Baroda and Central India Railway from 1897 (see L/AG/46/6).
