The Khijadiya-Dhari Railway (KDR) was a Metre Gauge(MG) line, worked as part of the Gondal-Porbandar Railway and owned by Princely Baroda State Durbar. [1]
The first section from Khijadiya opened in 1913; where there was a connection with the Gondal-Porbandar Railway ; extended in 1914 and reached Dhari in 1916, a total length of 37 miles(59km) [2]
In 1919 the Gondal Railway(GR) was formed and worked the KDR as a branch line.
