Gharibwal Quarry Railway

The 'Gharibwal Quarry' in the Jhelum District has been in use since 1933. The quarry originally supplied stone for the North Western Railway(NWR) Girdapindi Bridge river training works over the Sutlej River. The records show that a broad gauge(BG) railway was in use at this quarry [1].
