The Capper Quarry Branch Line was a branch of the South Indian Railway metre gauge (MG) 'Madras-Tuticorin Mainline'.
The line from a junction near Cuddalore (Old Town) to Capper Quarry, just under 1 mile(1.5km) opened in 1900 [1].
