Finlay, Muir & Co
'Finlay, Muir & Co' was a Managing Agent established in the late 1880's by James and John Muir. Their main offices were at Lyons Range, Calcutta with offices in Bombay, Karachi, Colombo and Chittagong. Their UK based company was 'James Finlay & Co' , Glasgow. They had interests in the tea, cotton,jute, indigo shipping and insurance industries [1].
