The Gurumaishini-Sini Railway was a proposal for Messrs Tata and Sons iron and steel works near Sini in Mourbhanj State to connect with the Bengal-Nagpur Railway(BNR) network at Gurumaishini. [1] [2]
The 1906 report indicates that Bengal-Nagpur Railway(BNR) were proposing a 2ft 6in/762mm narrow gauge(NG) line 52 miles (93km) length; however Tata were requested a broad gauge(BG) line. [3]
Finally the Sini project was abandoned in favour of Jamshedpur, 1909 which was on an existing BNR line.[1]
