The station at this town was on the Bhavnagar-Gondal-Junagad-Porbandar Railway, ‘Dhoraji Branch Line’, from Dhola Junction (between Bhavnagar and Wadhwan) to Dhasa, and from Dhasa via Jetalsar to Dhoraji, opened Jan 1881
