'''Dost Mohammad Khan (1793-1863)''', was an Afghan tribal leader and father of [[Mohammed Akbar]]. He was chief of the Barakzai tribe and Amir of [[Ghazni]] and [[Kabul]]. In the [[1st Afghan War]] he was deposed by the British and went into exile. He was restored to power after the war.
