This event is part of the Actions in Egypt 1914-15 in the First World War
Synopsis
The Turks attempted to take over the Suez Canal with 20,000 men of the 4th Turkish Army under Djemal Pasha. They were opposed at Serapeum by British Indian forces and decisively defeated.
