The Larkana-Jacobabad (Sind) Light Railway opened in c.1924. It was a 2ft 6in/762mm narrow gauge(NG) line between Larkana and Jacobabad. The line was worked by North Western Railway(NWR).
The railway is still in use today as part of Pakistan Railways. In 1956 the NG line line was converted into 1,676 mm (5 ft 6 in) broad gauge(BG. [1]
