The Segowlie-Raxaul Railway was owned by the Segowlie-Raxaul Railway Company. The line between Sagauli(+Segowlie see note) and Raxaul, a distance of 18 miles(29 km) opened in 1899.
The line was worked by the Bengal and North-Western Railway(BNWR).
The Segowlie-Raxaul Railway was absorbed by the Tirhoot State Railway around 1920.
Note +Sagauli and Raxaul are the place names used in The Imperial Gazetteer of India rather than +Segowlie(the Company name)
