Wazirabad was a town in Gujranwala District of Punjab and was also the headquarters of a tehsil of the same name. It was the headquarters of Wazirabad District until 1851-52 and had a cantonment until 1855 when the latter was moved to Sialkot. See Punjab Districts. Population in 1901: 18,069.
