Bara Gali was a hill station in the Abbottabad tehsil of Hazara District, North West Frontier Province.
It was situated about 40km from Murree, and was a small cantonment occupied in the hot summer months by one of the British mountain batteries which were stationed at Rawalpindi in the winter.
