The Jacobabad-Kashmore Railway was a 2ft 6in/762mm narrow gauge(NG) line, opened in 1914 with a length of 76 miles linking Jacobabad to Kashmore. The railway was worked by North Western Railway(NWR) as part of the NWR network. [1]

This railway, also referred to as the Upper Sind Light Railway, was owned the ‘ Upper Sind Light Railways Jacababad Kushmore Feeder Limited’ , a Public Company incorporated on 30 April 1913. [2]

The railway was purchased by Government of India(GoI) in 1945 and passed to Pakistan on partition. [3]
