Regimental histories
- An Historical Record of the 2nd Battalion, The Prince of Wales' North Staffordshire Regiment. Mooltan, Punjab, India: F Bremner. 1908.[2]. This book appears to be very rare, and is probably one of Fred Bremner's regimental histories which mainly consisted of photographs, see Photographer.
- History of the 1st & 2nd Battalions The North Staffordshire Regiment (The Prince of Wales'), 1914–1923. Longton: Royal Press. 1932. Available at the British Library UIN: BLL01001096901
- Frontier Assault: The North Staffordshire Regiment in the Third Afghan War 1919 by James Green.[3] This book is stated to include an account of the North-West Frontier during WW1.
