- Robert Maitland Brereton, 1857, GIPR Assistant Engineer to Robert W Graham; later GIPR Chief Engineer
- Everard Richard Calthrop Joined GIPR in 1862 as a Locomotive Inspector; 1886, proposals and surveys, on behalf of GIPR, of what became Nasik Tramways and Barsi Light Railway, these were not pursued by GIPR. - 1910 John Edwin Dallas became Managing Director of the GIPR Company in London. Prior to his retirement from the Indian Public Works Department his final position was Senior Government Inspector of Railways [6].
