Records

findmypast introduced, in March 2017, the database "Anglo-Boer War Records 1899-1902", located in Military, Armed Forces & Conflict/Boer Wars. Elsewhere, this was stated to include a register compiled by military researcher Meurig Jones over a period of 25 years. All the records appear to be transcripts, without images, from a variety of sources, including medal rolls from The National Archives, Kew in the series W0 100. Also see Medal Rolls. Medal Rolls are also available as free downloads from TNA , and from the pay website Ancestry.
