Egmore
Egmore is an area near the centre of Madras
It is the location of St Andrew’s Church (Church of Scotland), established 1821.
It was the location of the Madras Military Male Orphan Asylum
It was located on the Madras Railway, which later became the Madras and Southern Mahratta Railway
