The Hajiganj-Shatnal Railway Survey was a branch line proposed in 1897 by Assam-Bengal Railway(ABR) to link Eastern Bengal Railway(EBR)’s existing line from Goalundo to Narayangaj with a wagon ferry to Shatnal and a line to Hajiganj.

The branch was surveyed in 1899 and a project proposed to include the ferry and a length of 24 miles(38km) of line. [1]

There is no corroborating information to show that this railway was constructed
