Ahmedabad-Dholka Railway, a private Company registered 1901; Metre gauge(MG) line, 33 miles(53km) opened 1903 from Saharmati to Dholka; worked as part of BB&CIR network [1].

The line was later extended to Dhandhuka and an end-on junction with the Bikaner State Railway [1].
