The Chikballapur-Bangalore City Railway was a 2ft 6in/762mm narrow gauge(NG) railway, operated by the Mysore State Railway(MSR). This city railway was effectively an extension of the Bowringpet-Chikballapur Railway.. [1]

Kolar and Mysore District Board were the owners of the Chikballapur-Bangalore City Railway and also the Yelahaka-Bangarpet Railway.
