  • 1761 raised as the 109th Regiment of Foot (Battalion of London Volunteers)
  • 1763 disbanded

2nd Raising

  • 1794 raised as the 109th (Aberdeenshire) Regiment of Foot
  • 1795 disbanded and transferred to the 53rd Regiment of Foot
