Tenasserim

The province of Tenasserim in Burma is now called Tanintharyi Division. During the British period, Moulmein was the captial of the region (and until the end of the 2nd Burma War in 1852, the capital of British Burma).

The region was ceded to the British as a result of the 1st Burma War.
