The Mushkaf-Bolan Railway was the third attempt at the Bolan Pass Railway Construction.
In 1890 orders were issued for laying an all season track through the Bolan Pass. This new track was inaugurated on April 15, 1897 and named the Mushkaf-Bolan Railway. Construction commenced 1894, in service with North Western Railway(NWR) 1898; alternative route to Sind-Pishin State Railway
Personnel
- Charles William Hodson, was deployed from the Railway Branch of the Public Works Department, 1887-91, and was Engineer-in-Chief during the surveying and early construction. [1].
- James Ramsay, was was deployed from the Railway Branch of the Public Works Department, c.1890, also as Engineer-in-Chief during the construction [2].
