- Engineer-in-Charge of survey of Rohri-Sukkur area to bridge River Indus. His propsal to build a 650 feet (200M) long suspension bridge was not adopted. It was not until that the Alexander Meadows Rendel design was adopted becoming the Lansdowne Bridge when finally opened in 1889.
