Railway Achievements
- Royal Indian Engineering College, Cooper’s Hill, Surrey, England then appointed Assistant Engineer, Public Works Department Railways Branch
- 1876, Sindia State Railway, sub-divisional charge of construction works.
- 1879, Neemuch State Railway, under the direction of Horace Bell, Engineer-in-Chief, where he held charge of the Tharod and Nimbhera subdivisions till their completion for traffic.
- 1881, Bombay Eastern Deccan Railway, now the Bijapur Branch of the Southern Mahratta Railway.
- 1882, Vizagapatam-Raipur Railway survey for the Government of Madras.
- 1883, Indus Valley State Railway, where he held charge from time to time of the Jacobabad, Kandahar and Northern divisions as Executive Engineer until 1887.
- 1889, Villupuram-Guntakal Railway, Executive Engineer
- 1891 Mayavaram Mutupet Railway, on loan to the South Indian Railway Company, to take executive charge.
- 1892, North Western Railway, in-charge of the Sukkur Division, then Rawal Pindi Division
- 1893 the abnormal floods in his district did a great deal of damage to the line, and he was commended for his work in completing the temporary bridge over the Haro river during the floods in July.
- 1896 North Western Railway, Assistant Engineer-in-Chief, which post he held to the time of his death at Lahore, on the 12th January, 1899, from a severe attack of pneumonia.
