The Kotri-Rohri Railway was opened in 1900 linking Kotri to Rohri in Sind Province (now in Pakistan).

The railway to Kotri from Karachi had opened in 1861. However the crossing of the River Indus was a major obstacle and only commenced in 1893 with Ernest Ifill Shadbolt as Engineer-in-chief in charge of the construction of the Kotri Bridge .

The railway from Kotri via Hyderabad ran northwards to reach Rohri to meet the Lansdowne Bridge crossing the River Indus to connect to the Indus Valley State Railway.
